TEBOW REFLECKS THE GOOD IN AMERICA!
West Palm Beach, Florida - I am sure all of my readers who have attended Mass at a Catholic Church, or walked down the aisle in a call to Salvation in Church, understands kneeling before God! It’s a Christian way of showing respect and humility before God. It shows submission to the higher power if you will. Liberals can’t stand this because they preach that all solutions to mankind come from the government especially if they are in power. Look at the attack on anything that smells of Christianity. Ten commandments, nativity scenes, crosses are just a few items the inclusive liberals like to destroy given the chance before an activist judge appointed by the Anointed One (Obama).
Watching the football game Sunday night (Tebow vs. Brady), shortly after welcoming Cpl. Sam Trausneck-USMC back from his service in Afghanistan, I sat in a sports café with a bunch of Tebow-haters. They kept shouting down Tebow, making fun of his faith, and making fun of Jesus. It’s an easy atmosphere to beat up on Christians when many of the Federal and State Courts support the false doctrine of Separation of Church & State. Most public school grads even believe that statement is found in the U.S. Constitution and is the law of the land. That goes to show you the state of our public school system, but that’s another post.
Even socialist political pundits are jumping on the band wagon of the Tebow/Jesus bashing in a blatant show of religious bigotry. Bill Press the former CNN pundit and liberal icon played a clip of Tim Tebow thanking Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior and then Bill Press continued on his diatribe of hate:
“…And you know what I want to say, S.T.F.U. I’m tired of hearing Tim Tebow and all this Jesus Talk,” Press said. “He better be praying hard this week, because he’s up against a real quarterback on Sunday — against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.”
As if this weren’t enough, Press continued, saying, “Everybody wants to make him a hero. I think he’s a disgrace. I think he’s an embarrassment.” REALLY? An Embarrassment???
The disgrace comes from hearing Bill Press who has to stoop so low to get callers to ring into his low rated radio talk show by denouncing Christians. Press wrote a book in 2010 called “Toxic Talk: How the Radical Right Has Poisoned America’s Airwaves.” To some, Press’ disparaging comments about Tebow would amount to “poison.” Of course Tebow lost against the Patriots, and ESPN & Fox Sports pounded him as NOT a perfect player, which Tebow never claimed to be.
Tebow is a refreshing player that is not thug or criminal in his lifestyle. He is someone that would not make a father cringe if their nine year old wanted to be like Tebow or their daughter wanted to marry someone like him. One has to wonder why so many individuals cannot hear the name of Christ without igniting rage. What has Tebow done that is so wrong? What is wrong is the all out hatred against the Christian faith. Some high profile individuals are so blinded by their rage they will justify discrimination only because the liberal public conversation demands it.
In fact, 40-NY high school students got down on their knees and shouted “TEBOW” in hallway in a high school in NY. The Unionized staff was not happy and the Principal came down like a hammer suspending two of the alleged ring leaders with suspension. Why you may ask? District Superintendent Nancy Carney for Riverhead High School on Long Island says the tribute posed a “safety hazard by blocking others from getting to class.” This sounds like some veiled cookie-cutting default excuse to quench a young man’s spirit because it might lead one down a path to recognizing God over government. Look at the video below and see if in your judgment the short display of fun put the other young adults in danger.
I worry for America and the inhabitants who hold positions of interest like District Superintendent Nancy Carney. What will the health of this nation be like when my young 11-year old have his children born into this world?
Like I mentioned earlier, I was at the Palm Beach Airport welcoming a young Marine back from the theater of war. He did not expect the “Welcome Home Warriors” and the “Patriot Guard Riders” to show up and form a flag lines in honor of this his’ sacrifice. These men and women attended with pride and talked well of the men in Iraq and Afghanistan. The loving spirit in them gave me hope….not Government hope, but that which comes from the throne of God, leaving me to believe that this darkness shall pass. With such good people who care for each other and will drive miles to honor someone they don’t even know shows that we still have the cream of the crop and it rises to the occasion when needed. This young Marine who dedicated his life by entering the armed service to serve his country was inundated with the true American Spirit of Brotherhood. He had no idea who most the well wishers were nor was he expecting the 50-plus people who attended. Many of the Patriot Riders rode as far from Stuart and Fort Lauderdale to the Palm Beach Airport.
I heard him say while being interviewed by Channel five thanking God to be here alive to spend this time with his family. He also thanked and appreciated the men and women who put their lives to the side one afternoon to celebrate his time in serving this great nation. I wonder what Bill Press would say to this young man, either thank you for your service or STFU? I do know what Tebow would say and that makes him the better man. Welcome back Cpl. Sam Trausneck!
